We, the Purple Party know education is extremely important. America is the most powerful country in the world and we need a strong, educated young population to be the future leaders of this great country. America's educational system does not work. Funding is extremely low which makes it difficult to hire well qualified teachers and obtain other necessary supplies such as computers, other technology and top notch textbooks as well as other materials. Schools need resources in order to properly educate our students to compete in this global economy. We will not cut funding for schools. It is absurd that children should not receive a quality education in this country. The budget can be fixed in other ways that do not involve cutting school funding.
